Connect
A landscape photography exhibition revealing Türkiye through 49 cities, exhibited around the world, from New York to Ho Chi Minh City.
The project
One country, seen as a single connected world.
Turkish Airlines flies to more countries than any other airline. For Connect, the brand wanted to turn that idea into images: a body of work that shows Türkiye’s lesser-known corners of Anatolia alongside fresh views of its most famous places.
Over roughly two years I photographed landscapes across 49 cities, from Istanbul’s skyline to high plateaus, coastlines and volcanic valleys. The concept was built around Pangea, the supercontinent that once held every land together, a metaphor for an airline that connects continents.
The collection, curated by Serhat Kula, premiered at the Turkish House in New York and went on to travel internationally as “Connect to Türkiye”, with more than 28 stops including Miami, Seoul, Mexico City, São Paulo, Stockholm, Seville and Ho Chi Minh City.

Our mission today, as it was then, is to bridge continents, connect countries and unite communities.Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of Turkish Airlines, at the New York opening
