Into the clouds of the Tian Shan.

Visit Karakol invited me to Kyrgyzstan to create travel content showing the wild side of the Karakol region at the foot of the Tian Shan mountains.

We drove old off-road vehicles up through the rain into the Altyn-Arashan valley, followed rivers through spruce forest from the air and photographed trail runners in the fog between the trees.

The result is a moody, cinematic portrait of the region: rough roads, dense forests and peaks that appear and disappear in the clouds.
